Professional market rollout for beauty brand ARK

ARK Age Aware Skincare - the British skincare brand founded by Shula Starkey, owner of London based ARK salons - has launched into the professional market.

The move - with the focus first on the UK, followed by the US and Canada and then the rest of the world - follows the success of ARK skincare in ARK's three London salons and retailing of the product through its website and the QVC shopping channel.

ARK skincare, which treats skin according to age rather than skin type, will be specifically aimed at high street salons and spas of three or more rooms, similar in size to ARK salons.

The company will also be looking to take on independent therapists as 'Brand Partners', who will carry the ARK Age Aware Skincare line exclusively.

ARK Age Aware Skincare offers three 'age appropriate' skincare ranges which work with the shift in hormone production and the change in the way the body functions.

Included are age prepare , for the teens to early 30s; age maintain, for the mid-30s to 50; and age repair, for the 50s and beyond.

In addition, ARK's range of SkinResponse serums were developed to address the needs of its salon customers, ranging from general hydrating and anti-ageing concerns to more specific problems such as rosacea and capillary damage.

ARK's five salon treatments - The SkinResponse Facial; The Cleavage SkinResponse Facial; The Back SkinResponse Facial; The Invigorating Body Polish; and The Mood Response Massage - all use the company's new professional products.
